Wedding Photography - Bride and Bridesmaids Getting Ready

It's a common request from brides when it comes to wedding photography, "do you do the getting ready photos?", they ask. And the obvious answer is yes, but to what extent is another question. This is why this image has been chosen as photo of the week. It's not too often I get a chance to capture getting ready photos with a boudoir flavor. for this particular wedding photo, I took advantage of the opportunity by surrounding the bride to create an image of doting bridesmaids pampering and prepping the princess of the day. the result, a telling photo captured in a portrait-journalistic style.
