Wedding Photography in Long Beach (Photo of the Week 8.30.09) 

One of the things I like about photographing on the east coast, especially the New England States is the abundance of light houses along the coast. I found quite a few in my travels to the English Channel as well. The light house is one of the reasons I enjoy photographing in Long Beach at the Shoreline Aquatic Park. It reminds me of something you would see on the east coast; it's definitely a departure from the typical scenery you would find in Southern California, especially for wedding photography.

I chose the photo of the bride below for this weeks photo because of its simplicity and location. If you haven't already taken a trip to Long Beach, I recommend it. There are plenty of photo opportunities in the city, especially around shoreline village. You have the Aquatic Park, the harbor, Queen Marry, and the downtown area just to name a few spots.
